I would recommend using several layers of sealer (like clear finger nail polish) if jewelry is going to be worn for an extended period of time. Apply the sealer to any metal parts touching the doll’s skin, let dry overnight between each layer before wearing. Taking these steps of protection still does not guarantee that green ear will not occur.

This jewelry should be worn for short periods of time to prevent damage to your doll. I also offer plastic posts for an alternative to metal on most all earrings. My customers have found the plastic posts work well with vintage 11 1/2” dolls.
